LAGOS (PORTOGALLO) – Dylan Groenewegen (LottoNL-Jumbo) ha vinto la prima tappa della Volta ao Algarve conclusa con uno sprint di gruppo sul traguardo di Lagos. L’olandese ha superato il campione di Francia Arnaud Démare (FDJ) e Hugo Hofstetter (Cofidis, Solutions Credits). Groenewegen è anche il primo leader della classifica generale della corsa portoghese. Per lui si tratta della seconda affermazione stagionale dopo quella ottenuta ad inizio mese pure nella tappa di apertura del Dubai Tour.
